After an inexcusably long absence, I'm making a (tentative) return to reviews over the next month, with a view to properly starting the blog up again. Sound of the Underworld exists to offer an independent view on the latest sounds from the darker side of metal. From the dank and dismal to the fiery and fantastical, here stand monuments to new and recent releases across a range of melodic and atmospheric metal genres.
